Hi, I’m Russell Nicholson, (Russ), founder of HeadStrong Clinic. My journey to creating this business is rooted in both personal experience and a passion to make a profound difference in people’s lives. In my late 20s, I experienced hair loss, and like many, struggled with the emotional toll it took on my confidence. At the time, shaving my head was my only real option, as alternative solutions like hair transplants were both costly and unsuccessful, until I discovered Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP).
After my own treatment with an award-winning artist, the results were transformative—not just visually, but emotionally. It gave me a natural, full-head look, but beyond that, it restored my sense of self. That moment sparked a mission: to give others the same life-changing experience.
Driven by passion, empathy, and a desire to help others feel like themselves again, I trained in SMP and opened Headstrong Clinic. I understood what clients were going through—and was determined to offer something better: precise, natural-looking results delivered with care, confidentiality, and heart.
