Each session begins with cleansing the area and, if needed, applying a numbing or cooling treatment. The laser then delivers precise pulses of light energy that break down the ink particles in your skin. These tiny particles are naturally flushed away by your body over time. After treatment, the area is cleaned and soothed with a post-care balm.
The sensation is often compared to a quick flick or snap—brief and manageable for most clients.

- Your tattoo is at least 8–12 weeks old (to ensure it’s fully healed)
- You have realistic expectations and are committed to a multi-session process
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding
- You are not currently on photosensitive medications (these may increase risk of skin reaction)
Conditions that may affect eligibility:
- Active eczema, psoriasis, or skin infections near the tattoo area
- Keloid scarring history (we’ll assess your skin’s healing behaviour in consultation)
- Autoimmune conditions or immune suppression
- Poor circulation or healing disorders
- Recent tanning or sunburn on the treatment area
- Use of blood thinners or certain medications (consult with your GP or our team)

1.Consultation & Patch Test (15–30 minutes)
Every treatment journey begins with a personalised consultation.
We assess your tattoo’s size, placement, colour, and depth
We evaluate your skin type, medical history, and lifestyle factors
We’ll explain the laser technology, number of sessions expected, and what realistic results will look like
A patch test is performed to ensure your skin responds safely to the laser
2. Customised Treatment Plan
Following your consultation, we create a tailored treatment plan that includes:
Estimated number of sessions (usually 6–10, spaced 6–8 weeks apart)
Laser settings suited to your skin type and tattoo ink
Pre-treatment guidance (e.g., avoiding sun exposure and certain skincare product
3. Laser Tattoo Removal Session (15–45 minutes per session, depending on tattoo size)
Here’s what happens during each laser session:
Cleansing the treatment area
Application of cooling or numbing measures (optional, based on your preference and sensitivity)
The laser device emits short pulses of light energy, targeting the ink pigment in the skin
The ink absorbs the laser energy, causing it to shatter into tiny particles
Your body’s lymphatic system gradually clears away these particles in the weeks following
The treated area is cleaned and cooled, and a post-care balm may be applied
Most clients describe the sensation as a quick snap or flick—not pleasant, but tolerable and short-lived. 4. Aftercare & Recovery
Post-treatment, we’ll provide detailed aftercare instructions to support healing and minimise risks.
You can expect:
Redness, slight swelling, or a warm sensation immediately after treatment (usually subsides within 24–48 hours)
Occasional scabbing or light peeling as the body processes the pigment
Avoid sun exposure, heat (saunas/gym), and active skincare products on the area for 7–10 days
Keep the area clean, dry, and protected—we’ll give you full aftercare guidance
5. Ongoing Sessions & Visible Fading
Sessions are spaced 6–8 weeks apart to allow full healing and ink breakdown
With each session, the tattoo will fade more noticeably
You may begin to see partial fading even after the first session, especially with black or older tattoos
Coloured tattoos or deeper ink may require more sessions
6. End Results & Skin Health
With the right number of sessions and proper aftercare, your tattoo can fade significantly or disappear entirely. While results vary based on ink type, placement, and individual skin response, our focus is always on achieving the best possible outcome with minimal disruption to your skin’s integrity.
In some cases, you may choose to stop treatment once the tattoo is light enough for a cover-up

1. Progressive Fading Over Multiple Sessions
Tattoo ink fades gradually between sessions as your body processes and eliminates the broken-down pigment. Most tattoos require 6–10 sessions, spaced 6–8 weeks apart, to reach optimal fading.
2. Partial to Full Removal
Black ink tends to respond the best and may fully disappear.
Coloured inks (red, green, blue) can take longer and may not fully fade, but significant reduction is still achievable.
Some older or amateur tattoos fade faster due to shallower ink placement.
3. Skin Clarity Improves Over Time
As treatments progress, you’ll notice reduced pigment visibility, more even skin tone, and less contrast between ink and skin. Any post-treatment redness or swelling typically fades within 24–48 hours.
4. Potential for Complete Clearance
While not all tattoos can be removed 100%, many clients achieve full removal—especially with black or grey ink, smaller designs, and tattoos on areas with strong circulation (like the upper body).

Factors That Influence Results:
Tattoo age, ink type, and depth
Skin tone and sensitivity
Immune system strength (your body clears ink naturally)
Lifestyle factors (e.g., smoking can slow healing)
Consistency with aftercare and treatment schedule
Realistic Expectations:
Some tattoos may leave a slight shadow or ghosting
In rare cases, mild skin texture changes or lightening may occur
Results improve with patience, proper spacing between sessions, and following aftercare closely
